ORS OLIVE OIL NORMAL - 496 gr. 11096 ORS OLIVE OIL SODA-FREE STRAIGHTENING KIT WITH INTEGRATED PROTECTION 1 APPLICATION STEP 1/BEFORE STRAIGHTENING: Before starting to straighten your hair, carefully read the instructions and warnings on the box label. Make sure you have all the necessary items. This straightening kit includes: Straightening Cream - Olive Oil Built-In Protection Relaxer Base (184g) | Activating Liquid - Olive Oil Built-In Protection Activator Normal-Strength (45.8ml) | Neutralizing Shampoo - Olive Oil Creamy Aloe Shampoo (51.7ml) | Deep Conditioner - Olive Oil Replenishing Pak Penetrating Hair Conditioner (51.7ml) | Hair Lotion - Olive Oil Incredibly Rich Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion (7.4ml) | Exotic Hair Oil - Olive Oil Exotic Oil Boost (7.4ml) | 1 Wooden spatula and 1 pair of plastic gloves | Additional items needed: Plastic wide-tooth comb or application brush, timer, towel and petroleum jelly (for skin protection). IMPORTANT: It is essential to protect the hairline and ears, as these are sensitive areas that can easily become irritated. If the scalp is sensitive, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly directly before straightening. Adjust the time as indicated in the table. STEP 2 / PROTECT: Divide the hair into 4 sections (IMAGE 2.1) | Apply petroleum jelly around the hairline, ears and, if necessary, all over the sensitive scalp (IMAGE 2.2). STEP 3/MIXING & STRAND TEST: Before mixing, put on the gloves provided in the kit (IMAGE 3.1). Keep the gloves on throughout the process until the relaxer is removed | Combine the Activator (B) with the Relaxer Base (A), mixing thoroughly with the wooden spatula provided in the kit, stirring vigorously for 1 minute (IMAGE 3.2). Then add the Exotic Hair Oil to the previous mixture and stir for another 1 minute (IMAGE 3.3). Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. IMPORTANT: Do not apply to hair until it is completely smooth and free of lumps. Improper mixing can cause irritation, damage or hair loss. DO NOT KEEP LEFTOVERS OF THE MIXTURE. STEP 4/STRAND TEST (for new users of the product only): Section a small section of hair from the back of the head (IMAGE 4.1) | Close the end of the strand with tape | Apply the relaxer evenly to the strand and follow the time indicated in the table | If it is not straight enough, continue checking every 1-2 minutes until you achieve the desired straightness | Check the test strand and write down the time. DO NOT exceed the maximum time indicated in the table, which varies according to the texture of the hair. IMPORTANT: The strand test helps to determine the time needed to relax the hair. STEP 5/APPLICATION: Set the timer (IMAGE 5.1). Divide the hair into 4 equal sections (IMAGE 5.2) | Start by applying the relaxer to the top section at the back of the head with a wide-toothed plastic comb or applicator brush. This is the most resistant area and requires the most processing time | Then apply to the front sections. The last area to be treated is the hairline (IMAGE 5.4), the most delicate and requires special care. IMPORTANT: The relaxer can be applied close to the scalp, but not directly on it. Apply only to hair that has grown since the last application to avoid overprocessing previously relaxed hair. STEP 6/SMOOTH: After applying the relaxer, smooth or massage with the back of a comb or your fingertips (IMAGE 6.1) | Start with the area where the relaxer was initially applied (top of the back of the head) | Continue smoothing all over the head. DO NOT exceed the maximum recommended time. IMPORTANT: The smoothing step is crucial to achieving the desired straightening effect by evenly distributing the relaxer. VIRGIN HAIR: Smooth or massage from the roots to the ends. Do not comb to avoid damaging the hair and scalp. | TOUCH-UP ON PREVIOUSLY STRAIGHTENED HAIR: Apply and smooth the relaxer only to hair that has grown since the last application. Avoid applying it all over the hair to avoid overprocessing previously relaxed hair. NORMAL TEXTURE FINE TEXTURE - MAXIMUM TIME: 10 - 12 minutes MEDIUM TEXTURE - MAXIMUM TIME: 13 - 15 minutes RESISTANT TEXTURE - MAXIMUM TIME: 15 - 18 minutes EXTRA STRONG For strong to resistant hair textures MEDIUM TEXTURE - MAXIMUM TIME: 12-18 minutes RESISTANT TEXTURE - MAXIMUM TIME: 15-20 minutes IMPORTANT: Total application and smoothing time should not exceed the maximum time indicated in the chart. Overprocessing can cause serious damage to the hair. The chart does not apply when the relaxer is applied only to areas such as sideburns. This kit is not intended for localized application on wavy, braided or extended hair. WARNINGS: Contains an alkaline agent. This product includes calcium hydroxide and guanidine carbonate. Always wear gloves. Follow the instructions carefully to avoid skin and scalp irritation, hair loss and eye damage. Do not apply to irritated or allergic scalp or to permed (ammonium thioglycolate), colored, highlighted, bleached or damaged hair. Apply only to un-straightened hair. If irritation occurs, rinse immediately and apply ORS Olive Oil Creamy Aloe Shampoo. If irritation persists or hair loss occurs, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes. May cause blindness. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately. Do not rub eyes. Ingestion of activator or relaxer may cause serious damage. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. STEP 7/RINSE: Rinse hair thoroughly with warm water for about 5 minutes, paying special attention to the areas around the ears, nape of the neck and hairline (IMAGE 7.1). IMPORTANT: Rinsing is essential to avoid damaging or over-processing your hair. After rinsing, your hair should feel softer and easier to detangle. STEP 8/NEUTRALIZE: Apply a generous amount of ORS Olive Oil Creamy Aloe Shampoo to your hair and massage until a thick lather forms (IMAGE 8.1). If the relaxer is not completely removed, rinse and repeat the shampoo application. Leave on for 2-3 minutes. After washing, your hair should feel clean and detangled. Towel dry.
